North Edinburgh Childcare's pricing policy offers a subsidised fee's rate to residents of North Edinburgh who specifically reside within the most deprived data zones of the Neighbourhood Partnership Areas. The data zones are dictated by City Of Edinburgh Council's Edinburgh Index of Deprivation 2008.
The Council developed the current index by examining the levels of relative deprivation which included the themes of Income, Employment, Health, Education, and Crime. This was done city wide and they were then able to identify the most deprived areas.
The classification of the most deprived data zones from the Council are 5%, 10%, and 15%. This is the basis of our pricing policy and our subsidised rates are split into two, one for the 5-15% and one for all other data zones of the Neighbourhood Partnership Areas.

North Edinburgh Childcare is a Partner Provider with City of Edinburgh Council and Pre-School Education Funding is available for children between the ages of 3 and 5 at a rate of £3.90 per session, with a maximum of 5 sessions per week and is calculated over a 50 week year.
Childcare Fees are calculated over 50 weeks of the year to account for closure on public holidays.
Our Commercial Rate is £152.50 per week, £32.60 per day.
