DRIVER

Part Time - 16 hours per week across Monday to Friday afternoons

£6,240.00/annum based on 16 hours per week

We require a motivated, experianced and enthusiastic individual to fill this post.  The post requires the individual to undertake driving of a minibus and company people carrier in the collection and delivery of children attending North Edinburgh Childcare's provision's.

It is essential that the successful candidate will have a Full Clean Driving Licence achieved prior to 1997 or have a Full MIDAS Certificate and substantial driving experiance.  Experiance of driving minibuses and transporting children would be an advantage.

Additional hours may be avaliable when children are to be transported on trips and outings but this is not guaranteed.

ROOM LEADER

VICTORIA QUAY NURSERY, EDINBURGH, EH6

40 hours per week (Monday-Friday, hours between 7:30am-6:30pm)

£18,747.63/annum based on 40hrs per week

To work as part of a team delivering a high quality learning and childcare service for children aged 0-5 years within a workplace nursery setting.  Successful applicants will have knowledge of the Pre-Birth to 3 Guidance and/or the early level of the Curriculum for Excellence, experiance of working with 0-5 year olds and the abilty to work as part of a team in the planning, implemenation and evaluation of high quaility learning opportunites, e.g. HNC in Childcare and Education; NNEB; SVQ Level 3 in Childcare Learning and Development or equivalent.

SENIOR CHILDCARE PRACTITIONER

BALERNO OUT OF SCHOOL CLUB

Part Time:- 22 hours per week during school term times.

Although this post is term time only in Balerno Out of School Club opportunities exist for full time hours during school holidays and in-service days within the organisation's other early learning and childcare services.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in progressing a career in childcare to become part of an expanding organisation.  The successful candidate will work as part of a team to deliver a high quality out of school care service for children attending Dean Park Primary School and S1/S2 pupils from Balerno High School.  Applicants must have experiance of working with children aged 5-12 years in an out of school setting and hold, or be working towards, a relevant childcare qualification, e.g. HNC in Childcare and Education; NNEB; SVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development or equivalent.  Excellent opportunities for continuing professional development including training on a range of relevant topics and regular support and supervision are provided.

CHILDCARE SESSIONAL WORKERS

The rate of pay for these posts is the National Minimum Wage hourly rate for the relevant age group plus holiday pay.

Sessional Workers are required to assist in the effective and efficient delivery of the organisation's childcare services.  Settings include two full care nurseries and seven out of school clubs in North Edinburgh and Balerno.  Specific hours are not guaranteed and vary from short sessions to full time dependant on the needs of the organisation.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS - VOLUNTEER MEMBERSHIP

Commitment is 6 Board Meetings, 1 AGM, and 1 Strategic Development Day per annum.

The post is non-remunerated,  However, all reasonable out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed.
